Your aisle, your art, your audience

A step-by-step walkthrough for uploading titles, branding your channel, getting paid, tracking performance, and sharing your work on Red Viper TV.

Upload your content

Add films, series episodes, or trailers from the Upload tab. We transcode for streaming automatically and email you when a title is ready.

  • Sign in as a filmmaker and open Filmmaker Admin → Upload.
  • Choose your video file, poster (16:9 crop), and optional captions.
  • Fill in title, genre, format (film or TV), and access options (Free Stream, premium price, visibility).
  • For a trailer, check “Trailer” and select the parent title it promotes.
  • When processing finishes, open Content to submit the title for platform review.

Tip · Large uploads can be resumed if your connection drops — look for incomplete uploads when you return to Upload.

Open Upload tab →

Build your microsite

Your microsite is your public channel on Red Viper TV — name, logo, hero art, about copy, and social links viewers see before they press play.

  • In the Microsite tab, work through Identity → Branding → About → Social → Content → Review.
  • Pick a channel slug; your public URL is redvipertv.com/filmmakers/your-slug.
  • Upload a logo and hero image, set brand colors and fonts in Design if you want a custom look.
  • Write a short description and about section so subscribers know your voice.
  • Add social links (Instagram, YouTube, IMDb, etc.) so fans can follow you off-platform.

Tip · Publish titles to your aisle from Content after they are approved — only public, in-aisle titles appear on your channel page.

Connect Stripe & get paid

Link a Stripe account to receive per-title purchases and rentals. Platform subscription plays also earn through the click pool — see Analytics for estimates.

  • Open Payments and choose Connect with Stripe (one-time onboarding).
  • Set a default price, purchase vs rental, rental duration, and optional “limit runs” for premium titles.
  • Use the fee preview to see platform fee vs your payout before you publish prices.
  • After Connect is active, earnings from purchases flow to your Stripe account per Stripe’s payout schedule.
  • Subscription viewing uses qualified play metrics — your Analytics tab shows monthly estimates.

Tip · If Connect fails, the platform admin may need to finish Stripe Connect platform setup in Admin → Overview first.

Open Payments tab →

View your analytics

Track plays, watch time, completions, purchases, and storage usage. Charts break down performance by title and over time.

  • Open Analytics after you have published or reviewed titles with viewer activity.
  • Scan totals for plays, unique viewers, watch time, completions, and completion rate.
  • Review 7-day plays and revenue snapshots plus daily trend charts.
  • See per-title breakdowns in the plays-by-title chart and monthly click-pool estimates.
  • Monitor storage used vs your plan limit at the top of the tab.

Tip · Analytics count subscriber plays with active plans — private link views may not appear until viewers are logged-in subscribers.

Share your content

Share your channel and individual titles with direct links, even before wide catalog placement.

  • Copy your channel link from the top of Filmmaker Admin or visit /filmmakers/your-slug.
  • In Content, open a ready title and click Share for watch links and embed-friendly URLs.
  • Use Private visibility for link-only screenings; Public + in-aisle for catalog and microsite listing.
  • Optional trailers attach to a parent title and help promote premium or Free Stream catalog entries.
  • Point social posts and newsletters at your aisle URL so new fans land on your curated row.

Tip · Titles must finish transcoding (status ready) before Share links and review submission are available.
